Commission Terms of Service

COPYRIGHTSCharacter copyrights are retained by the commissioner. Artwork copyrights are retained by the
artist unless a written agreement is made prior to the commission’s start. The artist reserves the
right to sell prints of the artwork, include it in artbooks, or otherwise distribute it as deemed
appropriate. If you would prefer the artwork not to be used for the aforementioned items, we can
come to an agreement through which you may purchase the rights to the drawing. This
agreement will be addressed privately.REPOSTINGEvery commissioned piece may be posted in the artist’s gallery. If you do not want your
commission to be posted for any reason, you must specify that you would like to make your
commission a “private order” to which an additional fee may be added. If there is a certain date
by which you would prefer me to postpone posting, you must specify that prior to the
commission’s start. While commissioners may repost the commission to their website/gallery,
commissioners MUST credit the artist and provide a link to Yuurei’s furaffinity, Twitter, and/or
website. Commissioners are only allowed to post a web resolution version of the artwork,
provided to them along with the other commission files.PAYMENTUnless we agree upon another date, payment is expected to be paid up front and in full within
24 hours of placing the commission order. If the piece is over $100, a payment plan may be
discussed. Please note that I will not start on any commission piece until payment is
received. PayPal only. No Echecks.COMPLETION TIME & DEADLINESCompletion times vary based on numerous factors. If you need to have the commission
completed by a specific deadline, provide at least a FOUR WEEK notice when you first contact
for a commission. If a deadline is not agreed upon, commissions will be completed as quickly as
time and workload allows.CANCELLATION & REFUNDSThe artist has the right to cancel a commission at any time, for any reason. If this happens, the
commissioner will receive a partial refund minus the amount for work already completed on the
piece. Cancellation can be completed prior to the commission’s start for a full refund. Once work
has been started on a commission, no refunds or cancellation will be permitted.PROCESS/REVISIONSRevisions may be requested ONLY after the sketch stage. A maximum of TWO revisions will be
accommodated before an additional fee of $25 for each revision will be assessed.RIGHT OF REFUSALThe artist reserves the right to turn away any commission order and is not obligated to provide a
